Domestic EPC & Retrofit Assessments
London, Hertfordshire & Essex
Need to know where to start when it comes to making your home more energy efficient?
Domestic Energy performance certificates and retrofit assessment surveys are an integral part of the energy assessment and energy solutions of your property. Every home can benefit from a retrofit assessment. Before any retrofit or energy improvement works are done a survey will need to be carried out.
At EPC 365 UK, we’re here to help you improve the energy efficiency of your home. Our trustmark approved surveyors will complete a detailed and comprehensive survey of your property and produce an energy report. Using technology such as thermal cameras, flow metres and damp meters we can pinpoint problem areas throughout the property.
What is a Retrofit Assesment?
A retrofit assessment is an in-depth assessment of a property which looks at the following three key areas:
- Energy Assessment
- Condition Assessment
- Occupancy Assessment
The Retrofit assessor will play a significant role within the PAS 2035 process as they collect and provide property data and information. The assessor will take a fabric first approach as per guidelines. Each home looking to carry out any energy retrofit work must first be assessed by a retrofit assessor. Our retrofit assessor will complete a survey of your property including construction details , heating systems, ventilation and will identify any issues the property might have including damp, mold , ventilation or condensation.
Why do I need a retrofit assessment?
At EPC 365 UK we aim to obtain the relevant information and understand how the property is being used and what the desired outcome and goal is in the energy saving process.
What are the best retrofit options?
- External wall insulation
- Internal wall insulation
- Loft Insulation
- Cavity wall insulation
- Monocouche and silicone rendering
- Ventilation systems
Home Thermal Imaging
Home thermal imaging involves using thermal cameras to detect heat patterns in buildings. These cameras visualize temperature differences, helping identify issues like insulation gaps, air leaks, moisture problems, and electrical faults.
